Shani Kalev is a self-taught contemporary and portrait artist who currently resides in Toronto, Canada. She mainly works with acrylic paint creating pieces that play with colour, texture, and realism.

 

Although she has taken on many portrait commissions of both people and animals, her personal work focuses on women and  female empowerment.
